Hey y'all. Was poking around and noticed a bunch of good S&P stuff and some enticing geek stuff too. Thought I'd jump on in.

Hello, but what's a Texian? (If you're going to live there then you should, at least, know how to spell it! Obama didn't dumb us down that much, did he?) ;)

Gunman, it's an acceptable term for us here in the Texas Republic. It's origins were originally more a reference to ancestry but came to mean anyone from our Republic. It fell out of favor mostly after the treaty of 1845 when the more captive areas of the federation of states started calling us Texans.;)

Welcome Aboard! Spent some time in Texas, in San Antonio specifically, Retired to Colorado! Texian is correct, sort of like Arizonian, or Oregonian! LOL

"Texian" is what the Texas settlers that fought Mexico for independence called themselves.

    Suburban Houston.

Active off and on since 9/11.

I didn't spend much time in the open forums. Got burned quick by the mod-protected trolls. Spent most of my time in a few private groups and a few "boring" threads that were of interest to me.
