Personally, I haven't watched football in about 10 years, although I have sat through some of the Superbowl on rare occasions. Not sure what happened, I used to be a big fan, but I just kinda lost interest.

So...... will you be watching the game?

Nope, couldn't care less if I tried. I almost hate to say it, but I don't even know who's playing.

The biggest entertaining/friend and food frenzy day of the year?

    Count me there! [beer]

It's the only football game I watch each year, except high school games.

My wife plans the church SB party.
We cut all the commercials out and play our own spoofs. I was in 2 today and we have 4 more to film tomorrow.

I don't know who is playing or what time it starts. Lost my NFL addiction 15 yrs ago when I found college football.

Not had an interest in football since I found out the Saints aren't worth a plug nickel. Haha. Only way I'll tune in is in the hopes of seeing another Janet fashion "accident". Really wouldn't tune in for that either. I'll spend it playing Star Wars on my comp. Much more accomplished that way.

My name is Connie, and I'm Powerless over football and my Life is Unmanagable....:)

I go to local high school games...Watch College ball and always have..God love my SC Gamecocks.....(from my mouth to His ear)

I started with NFL when Jax got a team, I lucked in to some awesome season tickets.....Now, I'm addicted...Not only do I watch my boys, but any game I get that has a team they're going to play...I watch stats, read Sports Illustrated...Watch NFL today, etc....

From the book "G.R.I.T.S. Girls Raised In The South"

    "Southern girls know their religions:
    Baptist, Methodist and Football... "

My Uncle and 2 1st cousins played for Clemson and football was huge in my house...and still is...It's just what we do.

I've heard some people picked up NASCAR as something to do in between football season, but I just don't get it....

I am now looking forward to Pre Season '08. ;)

I'm not a huge fan, but after living here and there over the years, I keep an eye on a couple teams. The Pats are interesting this year. If it can't be the Packers or Steelers, let it be the Pats. (No beer this year, but will feed ginormously. Well, maybe one or three cold ones.) For those that care, pregame starts at three, kickoff is scheduled for just after 6 EST.

    In a word, NO.

I used to watch football with my dad as a kid then as a young adult (yeah, I was a weird girl even then). It was something we both enjoyed and helped us "bond" (I'm the oldest of his get, he's an only child and had absolutely no idea how to connect with kids, least of all a girl-child, of which he eventually had 3 before my brother was finally hatched ;).) It was great fun - especially since my mother would get all sorts of pissed off to see her daughter fully conversant in an all-guy sport.

I dunno. Maybe I'm just thoroughly sick of all the crap surrounding sports (and government and business and....) such as rampant drug usage, outrageous salaries, hypocrisy, etc. It does tend to get more noticeable as we get older and wiser ;).

Besides, it's not a world championship. That would imply by definition that more than the US were in competition with each other and last time I checked, it was just the US crowing how great we were again. We ain't the center of the universe, but you'd have a hard time convincing a whole lot of people of that.

I used to follow football religiously up until about 10 yrs. ago, just don't have the interest I once had. Football season starts around playoff time.

    Who's playing again? [booze] j/k

Giants beat the cheating Patriots, 17-14. One of the better Superbowls I've seen. Patriots lead 7-3 up until the 4th quarter.
