Applesauce !

Went picking over the weekend. Picked ourselves one bushel each of Cortlands & Braeburns.

Bags look half empty because applesauce already underway.

We have one of those spinny things which peels, cores and slices the apple.
Makes things go zippity-zip.

Added minimal sugar, a goodley amount of cinnamon and several dashes of nutmeg.
Sorry but I cook from the heart, not a book.
Next; canning applesauce !

I have one of those. Don't use it anymore after seeing this:



Use a flat spade wood bit about 3/8 - 1/2" diameter. (scrub it clean first, duh.)
