AR-15 Picture Thread

First AR built, Stag A2, added a MI lower handguard rail, midwest industries BUIS, USMC GI issue Sling, Magpul RVG:



Palmetto State Armory Gadsden lower, buffer tube, and LPK. PSA F/A BCG, Midwest Industries Rail, end cap. Daniel Defense 16" pencil barrel in 1/7 twist , with a White Horse Upper receiver. Moe handguard in FDE, Moe CTR buttstock in FDE, and have since added a Magpul MS3 sling in Coyote as well as a Magpul ASAP plate. Troy Iron flip up sights, and a Torch on the side there too Magpul FDE RVG as well:



Palmetto State Armory Lower, PSA LPK with ODG Moe Grip, UTG buffer tube kit *Like how it says made in USA on them* Moe CTR buttstock in ODG, have since added a Moe MVG in odg, it has a PSA CHF Heavy barrel on it, with a 1/7 twist, running a MOE ODG handguard, PSA upper with M4 feed ramps. cheapo optic (temporary) Magpul MOE Rail for Torch *future add on* Have since added a magpul ASAP plate, and a MS3 sling in ODG.

 

I have not been here in a few months. Lots of changes in my fire arm collection and ammo cache. First of all this last panic attack by gun owners forced my hand a little. Every store in Michigan is out of .223/5.56 . I could not justify keeping a rifle I cant find ammo for when times get iffy. So instead of paying inflated prices for ammo from private sales and or gun shows I decided to sell my AR-15 . I got enough money for it to purchase two brand new Bolt action 30-06 rifles one TIKA T-3 hunter for my Wife and Thompson Center Icon for me both topped with Leupold scopes. Yea , I got real good money for my Stag. I sold off two cheap Remington 7400 rifles and got a new Ruger model 96 in .44 magnum and a Marlin 336 for my wife in 30-30. All three of those cartridges are on the shelves right now at the same prices they were at 6 months ago. Now when the next scare comes along I wont be screaming I cant find any ammo.

 

A gun without ammo is just another club.

 

Since I didn't have a .223/5.56 in my gunsafe, and the way things are going I am in the process of putting one together. I ain't got a lick of ammo for it. Thats okay however. To the winner go the spoils. I got plenty of ammo for whats in the gunsafe and elsewhere. Now I could use something in 7.62x39 as I figure it might be nice to cover that caliber as well.
