I take LTC east from US93 to UTC across the Big Sandy to Bogles Ranch road, travelling well past Back Road (which is the way to the Big Sandy Range). I'm 18 miles from the pavement on the eastern side of the Aquarius Mountains, over Olo Pass. Elevation is 5100 - 5200 feet, depending on where you're standing on the property.

Pump is run directly off of solar, or in extreme circumstances (rare after the solar upgrades I did about 2 years ago), either a gasoline or a (more recently installed) propane-fired generator, as is the rest of the place. There's no commercial power available.

The well pump has it's own dedicated solar array separate from the arrays that power everything else. I consider water quite high on the list of importance. I'm about to make some improvements on that system also, soon as I can get there in the next week or so.

It's been over 10 years since I've had mine tested and I haven't done a flow rate / recovery check in at least that long. A lot of times flow / recovery rates will increase after a well has been used for awhile.

I don't think either of the aquifers we're drawing from are the same as the one Kingman is using to support those pistachio groves and their residential demands. I can see where that could become a problem for them after reading the article @VisuTrac posted.

The place is a work in progress and has been for over 20 years.

I should probably do a photo-tour of the place and start a thread - one of these days.

Yeah we are both in a different aquifer than kingman is, thats why I has an issue with VisuTrac posting an article thats scaring away people when he doesnt know the facts. Not going to lie, when my mom lived on this property she didnt keep up with the trash, but thats something I've been working on, and will resume clen up and improvements once I rebuild my transmission. She loved it out there, but after two heart attacks she now lives in town closer to the hospital. I grew up out there, I loved it, but I have a daughter on the way so being out there isn't in the short term cards. Property I have in town has almost trippled so when im ready to go back out away from town, I can do it all proper instead of one piece at a time. I remember that 2019 snow storm, it made everything so quiet.

If you're going to move back out of town eventually, you might want to keep the property. It takes a lot of time, effort and money to get a setup like that in place. And to find one that already has a well and utilities is only going to go up in price.
Even if the mobile isn't worth much, the infrastructure is still there and that's expensive.
