My shoulder is throbbing just from the thought of the recoil....... no MB.....?
Way too much $$$s for this ole poor boy to plunk down. Think a bolt will just have to do.
Yikes! Starting price $4995, as shown on the web page- $8300.
I do see that it is also available in .300 Win Mag, yummy!
I bet the author of the article was laughing when he wrote modest recoil.
13 pound rifle; optics, mounts and ammunition not included.
That's cool. I think .50 is too much lead and powder, so I always said a .338 would be in my future.... this certainly beats a bolt gun IMHO.
I wonder waht their issue is against Hornady ammo.
I haven't shot the bad news 338LM, but I did own a Noreen 50BMG rifle. The brakes they use are very effective...the brake on m 50BMG felt like shooting my 243...the muzzle blast was crazy, but recoil was not an issue at all.
As far as money goes...338LM isn't bad when you reload...I don't know too many folks that own a 338LM that only shoot factory ammo, which would cost a small fortune to feed.
