Civics Big Tech- Cancelling you

I know full well the purge, having been banned from Twitter, facebook and a few forums, and what's ironic is that I never actually posted anything on Twit or F.B, only followed a hand full of interesting folks, and then bam, banned with no explanation and no redress! I managed to make a ghost account for twitter, but got banned again and a nasty warning from F.B. to which I told them to go take a flying leap and fornacat a rolling perforated pastry! Then made another those account there anyway! I don't ever post, just keep tabs on things and folks I want to see!

 

Since I don’t and never had any kind of so-called social media account, this is nothing to me personally.

It is very disturbing, who the hell do these asshats think they are....the Federal Government?


Oh, wait...

 

They're purging ANYONE who doesn't bleat blue, and have for some time, but now it's game on.

I kinda want to frame that.

Twatter is a toxic cesspool but without it I doubt I'd have ever had a clue what was going on around the country. Things are quiet where I am, and of course none of the riots hit the news. Social media is how I found what the knobs in power didn't want me to see.

Don't have a Twitter or Facebook account, never have and never will own an Apple product, looking for an alternative media system for information, don't know if it will be based in the US or not. Used to depend on Wall Street Journal and the BBC for a lot of information on things but neither is reliable anymore and the great old lady, the NY Times has so much filler in the paper that it doesn't even make a good lighter for the stove, hardly burns, and is too slick to use in the two holer, never mind what is printed in it . Looks more and more like the so called "traitors" who leaked all the secrets of the government snooping might of actually been right. Only post on the Monkey, trying to get set up so if the great firewall of the USA is created or such, I will have what I want on my own server and only contact with that will be sneaker net.

I don't know how things will be financed in the future, but at present, the custom of X number of free access articles and then you have to pay, leaves an ever increasing portion of the internet information off limits to me. My virus and safety system shuts my internet access down a few times a day and there are sites with so many ads with video that my system will never load the page and I just cancel and go to another site.

Lived for 50 or so years without net, while handy, could live without it again, but the tech giants and the sellers, Amazon, etc, can not live if it goes down. Going to get interesting, stay gray, prep, talk with like minded people, praise God, you know what I mean, be a classic citizen of 50 years ago and panic the sh** out of the bas***** who want to control everything.

 

Twitter is pretty slippery. I just did some poking and prodding to see if I could create a completely anonymous account. The only thing unique to me was my laptop. I think they took a look see of my personal information when I went through the captcha stage, because when I was done they recommended someone I knew to follow. Get this:

• I used TOR to create the account
• All dates and other info was made up
  
• My email was new and fully anonymized/encrypted
• I used an anonymous burner phone for SMS verification

Should have used tails or a one off linux or virtual machine. Dammit, it was a great politically incorrect Twitter handle, too!

I honestly do not see what benefit any of these "social networks" have to humanity. Wouldn't bother me in the least if the creators and supporters of the platforms all of a sudden realize that they are doing more damage to society than good, and took the stupid things down permanently. Yeah, someone else will step up and fill the MT spaces.

 

I dont know what happened to my laptop last night...but this morning I have nothing
It's like a great reset happened and whipped out any passwords and now nothing will come back up..The phone is my only link to this site
