Hello I was wondering about sharpening knives. All I've ever used was the Smith's sharpeners but want to learn about stones. I've tried and no matter how long I do it there seems to be no progress...sometimes my blade is even a little duller than before. What I'm hoping for is a step by step/training guide. I'm assuming I'm using the wrong angle or just doing it wrong. Are there any tools that can teach me the proper angle or something? Also any tips on sharpening a machete?
