So being O+, I can give to 4 blood types (all +) but only receive from O+ and O-
Hmmm, I knew the first part but had never realized the last. Dang...
I don't know if you are the only one who doesn't know or not Tracy. It is however, a good idea to know your blood type.
A+ here. I think you can get typed for around $10
It is good to know
O+. Fated to give, seldom to receive. Ah, well --.
You're fine ghrit, My wife is 0+, we'll hook her up to a juice machine and a syrup tap and both of us can get refilled
melbo, if your wife is anything like I think she might be - I have a feeling you only think she'll allow you to do that.
ghrit - don't feel bad I'm in the same boat you are.
They keep merdical records for a good long time. You just may not be able to get to them immediately.
As for getting blood typed, don't pay money for it. Go to the next Red Cross blood drive in your area. They will send you your blood type on the donor card that you get. It will also help to keep our blood supply fresh and supplies high, something that has been lacking since we started the war on terror.
O+ also but ghrit, tis more blessed to give than have the need to receive.
Ah, yes, how true. MUCH rather that way. The Red Cross has benefited immensely from me. (Especially when the company paid us to take the time to donate.)
And we know that melbo's wife can supply us ---
she just said no, sorry guys
