Saw this today on a credible source, Bloomberg withdrew from the presidential race to back Old Shotgun Joe Biden. My guess is that he didn't have a chance against Trump in 2020 so he sends Joe up the flagpole to see how badly he is beaten by Trump. Most likely Bloomberg will try again in 2024 if he is still around. Its going to get interesting.
More liberals will go with Biden, than Sanders, especially the strong Union Guys... They don’t like what the Bern is selling, along with his AOC type backers, and that stuff...
He spent 500 million $ to test the waters, just to find out that they were too cold. For that kind of money Bloomberg could have bought himself a new jet, a bigger yacht, a private island and still have enough money left over for a new mistress or two.

Bloomberg was done the moment slipped during the last debate and admitted he bought several Congressmen. All in all it's a half billion spent that didn't go for gun control and America got to see what a total douche he is. Now it's down to Sanders and Biden, which is basically like holding the worst possible hand in poker. I give a 3/4 chance that it will be kinda sorta close with Sanders on top and the super delegates will crown Biden. Sounds familiar? Smells like 2016? BIG schism in the DNC no matter which way it goes. The headline on the second Wednesday next November will be "Trump steals election with help from China" or "China releases Corona Virus to steal election for Trump". Bernie was preordained to lose the nomination no matter how well he did in the primary. The good news is Bernie and the other Socialist/Communist Party members getting a strong foot hold in the Democrat Party is fracturing the hell out of the Democrat Party.

I very much agree with that, although Bloomberg's vision has him as Emperor and all others as subjects. Armed subjects tend to get all uppity and eventually want to become Citizens. Bloomberg's immediate concerns about gun control are definitely politically driven to gain support from the left.
Mini Mike bought the Mayor's seat in New York, he even purchased a 3rd term. But even Mike hasn't got anyway enough dough to buy a full country...not yet anyway.
