Just read this survival fiction book by Thomas Watson. I found it very intriguing. The premise is a viral infection that spreads across the globe. The survivors must band together to survive. It is the first in a series and I am looking forward to the next installment. It is gritty and as the author states "not for the feint of heart". I agree, but any realistic survival fiction will be gritty by necessity. The book has a few minor flaws, editing, some degree of believability of characters and situations. But all in all a very enjoyable read. I am looking forward to the next in the series.
