I just read a great nonfiction book by Michael Lewis (author of Moneyball, and many others) called Boomerang. It's about how the unfolding economic troubles has affected several countries, including Iceland and Greece. It's truly scary and to me makes a compelling case for an upcoming global economic train wreck.

I've been a believer for a while that our greatest danger is not terriorest attacks, nuclear war, or a peak oil scenario, but instead of an economic collapse caused by unsustainable budget deficits and short sighted greed.

This is a book I can highly recommend.
