But I'll have lots of research ahead of me but basically this is what I want to do: Live in a solar equipped camper off the back of a truck. Perhaps upgrade to an RV later. Sounds affordable and I like the idea of home and transportation separate. I want to have land to be stationed on where I can have a shed/garage for all my big stuff, tools, food, water, and other essentials. And let's make that mobile too while we're at it for when it's time to move. Oh, and I have two cats who'll be GPS equipped so they can be free wherever and I'll be able to retrieve them once time to go. That's it so far. Just suddenly got the urge. Money for life will have to be figured out seperately but once the initial plan is set in place the money thing will become a lot easier I imagine. That's it! I'll be reading and participating shortly. See ya'lls...
I should probably fill in some bio info. I'm in SWFL waiting for Irma and don't currently work. Have some money in the bank, SOME, but need to work and am currently working on flipping houses and investing in real estate. I just want to be free to do what I want in life and not be tied down to anything. Did I over answer? Thanks
Welcome from the great State of Jefferson. Take care of yourself during Irma. But it will definitely be a great lesson in prepping.
Welcome , much to learn , enjoy . BTW RVs eat fuel like it's free. Best combo I know if is you truck and camper with a shop trailer behind. It's what I did. When my father in law retired that's how he started and , through the years tried other means and eventually came back to what he started with . truck and camper with a shop trailer behind.
