I had a chunk of Bocote laying around so I resawed and planed it to dimension. Nothing quite like wood. Joshua Tree: 01 Tool Steel, 6.25" OAL, 2.5" x 1.25 x 1/8" blade. Bocote scales with carbon fiber pin and tube. Available in exotic wood, bead blast G10 or canvas micarta scales. With kydex sheath
I never would have thought that Joshua tree would look that good on a blade. Gives it that real SW look. I dig it. (Again, I am always open to testing out any blade any Monkey is smart enough to send me. )
That's a beautiful knife! And like AL, I'm available for extensive blade testing as well! Few quick questions though. What's the texture like? Does it repel moisture? It looks porous. Is it slippery when wet/bloody? Byte
I would get one just because I am a U2 fan. I am a fan of the music, not the politics. Alas, I am with strict budget. Beautiful blade, man.
