Love the black on black flat grind that is well thought out tool. Useful art at it's best. If I may ask what would be the cost for one like that?

I don't know that we prohibited you from posting pictures of knives you've created...
I think the idea was that you were posting pictures and links back to you site where you have knives for sale.

Without getting into a public dispute (although you initiated via this comment), I admire your work and wish the best in selling your product. We necessarily must screen posts for spam or sales and charge other vendors a fee of $100 a year to be able to post sales threads/links back to their store. It's generally accepted as rude behavior to link away to a store without asking the admin/owner of the board if it's ok first.
Original PM to you for reference to fans of your work (not sent by me):

I'm sorry that you took offense to this request but it was brought to our attention by a (paying) vendor member who felt it unfair that he had to pay for store links and you did not. I'm not sure why you felt it necessary to make a post in every one of your threads with the cryptic message about not being allowed to post. I also see that you've edited every thread and I can only imagine that it may have been to remove links to your store?

You were not asked to refrain from 'posting pictures of your knives'.

I am not offended in the least bit. I just like the concept of disclosure. I hope my practice of disclosing did not offend anyone. I was not aware that links to my website appared along with pictures of my knives.

    thanks again,

ps Show us all where the links appeared or the record ( you have access to) wherein I removed the links. Your statement is false. When photographs are deleted the link to that photograph and my website appears in it's place.

You don't find that posting this message in each of your threads without explanation of our request odd?

Especially with your original post added back in for reference?

This was clearly a 'for sale' ad and needed to be ran by me first

I sometimes copy and paste from another forum and the inadvertent price is my bust - you have my apology. Those prices were removed long before two days ago and you have the means to determine exactly when I removed them.

Show me the alleged link to my website (please).

Regrettably, you disclosed nothing. You obscured your intent to sell, and did not check, as directed, for permission to sell. Accordingly, I am closing this thread, and banning you for a week. You can't argue with me, because I'll not respond. However, when you challenge a site founder (other than me) I'll do as the Blade forum has done. The thread closing and banning will happen in 5 minutes from now, at 2250 this date, to give you time for one more post. Unless I'm over ridden at the highest level, that's it for now.

FYI to anyone reading this. BMK was posting items for sale in the capacity of a vendor without paying to be a vendor which is unfair to our other vendors who pay a yearly fee. When questioned about this, rather than apologizing or offering to pay the vendor fee, he chose to play verbal games with the staff that I've tasked with watching for this behavior that have now led to this temp ban. We haven't banned a non-spambot member in a long long time.

    He makes knives
He has a website which sells these knives
He posts pictures of knives (with prices) that are available for sale on his web site
    He is a vendor

    Do not follow this example.

I'm shocked at this sudden turn of events and had it on my todo list to ask BMK about a survivalmonkey.com branded run of knives.

After all of your thread edits, I cannot find links to your store. If you did not ever have links in your posts or in your signature, then I am wrong in assuming this.

The points above still stand: you were posting as a vendor without paying vendor fees.
