Buying gold, silver when to start?

Ordered some more silver today, just 13 Peace Silver Dollars. At this rate I'll be done with my purchases of 90% US silver coins next year, and then I'll start on buying some more .999 silver coins. I don't plan on having kilos, bars or monster boxes of silver. My modest plans call for about 400 oz. of silver (a mixture of mostly 90% coins and some .999 coins), which hopefully will allow me and mine a degree of security and comfort post-SHTF. Silver, for me, is a prep, just like food, clean water, protection, fuel, seed, warmth, etc.

 

MoneyMetals is offering 1toz 2nd hand rounds below spot as of this morning.
That tells me they probably have too much inventory and aren't seeing a reason for prices to go up or for products to move fast enough.

 

Keep in mind if there is a confiscation by the government they will want bullion, not jewelry.
I have the means to melt down what I have into unattractive trinkets.

 

Plus, they have to be able to find any bullion or coins before they can confiscate them. Lots of luck there! As I keep telling y'all, I got me a plan!

 

Suddenly im seeing more buy gold/silver advertisements.
It tops out at an all time high 6 months ago because of war with the sand people, 6 months later, its still going on, oils at about $100 a barrel and no one really cares.
Probably lower prices over the next few years as long as world war 11 doesn't kick off.
