Remember that most of these “checks” will be delivered by Electronic Transfers, and NOT actual Paper Checks...Those can be delivered in 36 hours....
I really would be curious as to the ratio between direct deposit and paper checks. BT, you might be right, but based on the locals I know, I'd say not all that many are electronic. These hillbillies, me included, like the feel of paper.
I like the paper also. Back before this virus started getting bad. A friend called me one day and asked me what I was doing??? I said I'm converting plastic into cold hard cash. I figured the bank was holding to much of my money. Had to make a few more stash piles.
A few months ago the latest rat infested shipping container of "hurricane relief supplies" was found. I don't dare say its the last because there's probably still more. The great idea of hide the supplies to make trump look bad kind of blew up in their faces.
A year later I hear more have been found. No surprise, obviously trumps fault. For your viewing pleasure. The main high lights: Not a bank. Had a "no questions asked", "No identity verification". You can remain completely anonymous. A little sketchy. Not DHS doing the raid. The conspiracy theory 10-15 years ago was that DSH was going to seize everyone's box in the event of a (fake) emergency, for reasons. The retarded DHS conspiracy goes something like a fake emergency will happen, idk, something like oh a plandemic, like we just had. Some how DHS is going to lock down all 5,000 banks, 6,000 credit unions (not counting non bank deposit box places like in the story) on top of doing all the shit they normally do, only allow people to remove ID papers and such, things that have little monetary value, no guns, no cash, no PM. Yeah the FBI agents living out their "heist movie" fantasy and grossly abusing their power was always a way more likely scenario.
The plot thickens. The warrant says seize the building but leave the boxes alone. So the FBI raids the building, decides to open everyone's boxes going against the warrant, then keep what's in the boxes going against the warrant and 4th ammendment. A federal judge straightens them out. People ask "what am I being charged with"? The authorities response "we will know after we conduct this illegal search and seizure".
Still going on. If you put a rubber band around rolls of cash then that means you are a money launder or drug dealer or both, because the FBI agent saw it in a movie and reasons. No one has been charged. The FBI says the vault company was conspiring to break the law with unnamed, unknown, perhaps completely imaginary perps. The FBI doesn't appear to be any closer to figuring out who the bad guys are. All the FBI had to do to find the real criminals was go in the bathroom and look in the mirror.
Still going on. Internal FBI documents show the FBI was planning to seize everyones deposit boxes, use civil asset forfeiture to keep everything they find and likey not charge anyone with anything. This was definitely a test case, to use a warrant to get on a person's property then use civil asset forfeiture to seize anything you have worth more than $5,000 even if it's unrelated to the warrant. The fact this happened to be safe deposit boxes ultimately is irrelevant. Where this was going is some random FBI asshoe could use a "confidential informant" to make up a BS warrant saying they are looking for drugs, classified papers, illegal immigrants, alien space craft, ect then when they get their foot in the door and don't find anything they will still use civil asset forfeiture to seize anything of value. Say it be your cash, tractor, pickup truck, gold/silver, RV, welding rig, tractor trailer, saw mill, stump grinder, farm equipment, guns. Even go after your kids or business partners items that happens to be located on your property. Maybe even your house too, hell at that point I would be surprised if they didn't take your house. I think this was an attempt to further weaponize the FBI to go after political opposition.
Was talking to a buddy who went to a major league baseball game recently. No cash accepted anywhere at the ballpark!
You might enjoy this movie Dragon Day. very low budget with horrible acting, but it is disaster porn writ large - all about the banking crash.
I'm working an estate sale today, as usual cash comes out of many hiding places on the human body an apparel. Learned that working Bingo in the Jaycees
Heil to the king baby. chevron-right Fb tracking gibberish deleted. Oh it was a solar storm. Forget all the "it was an update" BS. If there was an update going out the solar storm scrambled part of the update as it went out.
Trucker gets $224,000 returned after it was stolen by the cops. New legal standard for cops confiscating money? The stupid cops said organizing cash in envelopes containing $5,000 is sus. So putting the money in rolls, putting it in envelopes is suspicious. Maybe they should provide a list of what's not suspicious... Just leave it in a pile on the middle of your floor, naw that's probably suspicious too.
That is why you should always keep a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol and a lot of hand sanitizer on hand. I've seen money come out of shoes, bras and underwear. I've had it smell so bad that it made your eyes water. I've come across money that was covered with EVERY human bodily fluid there is. I even had a customer that had pinkeye. Plus, even the 'clean' money isn't really clean, the filth is still there just not obvious. The only reason that I took it was that it was MONEY! So, spray the worst with rubbing alcohol and use hand sanitizer regularly.
