1. Given the media intensity given to the Covid 19 (otherwise known as Corona or Wuhan) virus, there seems no reason to have posts on that very specific subject in several forums Accordingly, all of those posts will be moved to "Headlines". All new items on that subject should be posted there as well. This notice will expire on 30 April, or be extended if needed. Thanks, folks.

Nice catapult. I am going to show this one to the kid. He will like this.

 Never seen anyone store extra arrows in their pocket. Why not if they are just practice tips.

Being that your using a string , you could place the launcher across the field or directly at you as birds don't always fly away .

Looks like the ideal set up for returning a neighbour's dog's turds back to the dog's owner's property.

It has occurred to me that using a long shank screw driver as a stop for the catapault / trebuchet arm, gives a fixed trajectory (though mass and shape of projectile may allow of some variation).

you may be able to vary the trajectory by adding additional holes along the vertical axis of the timber to alter the position of the screw driver - arm stop.
