Never give up!

 

Heard this kitten under the front deck. Still suckling, and I suspect momma got run over up the road. He has good instincts, and powerful meow. Came to the cat ladies house and found a cool safe spot deep in the foundation of the old concrete porch under the new deck. Took me a bit to find him. Insanely bright LED flashlight through the spaces in the deck boards worked. Came to the light at the back of the box trap right after dark. Ate five syringes of kitten formula, turned on the purr and fell asleep.

 

No gloves or winter coat needed. Just squirt some kitty shampoo on the shallow end of the bath tub, hold onto the tail and let them run After they wear themselves out you can give them a nice bath, rinse them under the faucet and blow dry them without a fight.
