Unfortunately, masks are not an option in my workplace. Gloves are used anytime we know we are going to have DIRECT contact but not really feasible to wear gloves at all times. We (wife and I) wash our hands at least once an hour but that doesn't mean nearly enough with these circumstances.

I believe though if something like MERS became a known situation at our facility, we would likely go into a semi-lockdown status and gloves and masks would become a requirement. I don't actually know what policy and procedure dictates though.

Problem is, do we get equipped in time to stop the spread? Something with a 5 day incubation would spread fast in a 1500 man, closely housed, facility.
