Our country has been taken over by global interests and financiers and we let them have it and follow our instructions like the blind little sheep we are. Professional politicians run our country and they make our laws, rather than our peers and this creates an elitist body of government to enslaves us all and we do not complain because they bribe us with tax dollars (our money). Large groups of people that do not contribute to the cost of this fiasco equally reap the benefits of these bribes in the form of subsidies and preferential treatments and welfare but even worse, they get an equal vote with those that pay the bills and now are beginning to out-number the productive.<?xml:namespace prefix = o />
That elitist government, once elected, never has to worry about joining the unemployment line again for the rest of their life. They receive their salary and benefits even after they no longer serve. They also get a fund to maintain an office and staff in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Washington</st1:city> <st1:state w:st="on">D.C.</st1:state></st1:place> for the rest of their lives that we pay for so they can become lobbyist and continue to influence the distribution of our money even though they are no-longer an elected official and we the people, pay them for this. They do not pay into social security because they never retire; we pay them for the rest of their life so they have no reason to protect our meager retirement accounts and in fact, have every reason to utilize it in the stupid Ponzi-scheme that lets them utilize it solely as additional tax revenue.
40,000 people a year are killed by automobiles and we say nothing about this because the automobile is a convenience. We still say noting about this attrition even when the automobile is used as a weapon of murder, as it is in so many instances of road-rage and premeditation. Yet less than half that many people loose their lives to firearms each year, many as the result of someone defending their life and property, but the professional politicians strive to remove this tool from the hands of their subjects. Why? That one is a no-brainer: politicians are safe from automobiles used as a weapon while ensconced inside their ivory towers but they might fall prey to a rifle, if provocation should exceed conscience.
It is time to take our country back and the simple way to do that is to put congress and the senate on a simple salary with term limits, make them pay social security just like the rest of us and insist that at the end of their terms, they will have to return to the private sector. You want change?

More States are declaring their indepemdance from the Federal Monster. Most of the Southern and Western States are still governed by the people. We can fight this war one State at a time without firing a single shot in anger, if we continue this push.
