One boot full, less three plastic shot shells.
I'm going with 1650 + the 3 shotgun shells.
Looks like enough for a nice afternoon with the kids.
620 plus 3 shot shells
By the way, mahalo @Motomom34.
821. Including shotgun shells
2200 plus 3 shotgun shells
Trying to charm me into giving info will not work. So if any of you are thinking of sending me a PM to charm some clues out of me, please know it already has been tried and said person has been shot down.
Why? Am I wacky on Wednesdays, Forgetful on Fridays?
LOL! You are that guy on the Price is Right that always bets a dollar...
Australians can win Amazon gift cards too.... Take your time and look at all those pretty bullets
What is your guess? Or are you busy calculating your response?
978 ... Including the shotgun shells
No, that is an exact number in the same way that a bushel is exact. Now, if your question is "How many pieces of brass are in the glass boot?" I'll go with 400. Shotgun hulls don't count, they aren't brass. (The bases are steel, you can check with a magnet---)
Hate to dispute this but mine are still brass
I knew this would come up. Crafty types and shotgun slug reloaders will remember that Winchester AA hulls are brass base. They extract easier than steel base with heavy loads and polish up nicely.
1020 +3 shotgun shells
I am sure @tacmotusn is calculating
Doc says I can have four beers a day. I want to use that glass to draw my beers in!
I'd love to hear more of the reasoning that went into everyone's estimate. I took in the total mass of brass, and divided it by ten kids, subtracted two blistered thumbs from loading 10/22 magazines, added 90 minutes for the single shot rifles, and figured it was just enough for a fun afternoon at the range.
