Christmas Contest- Look at What I Made

If you look close at the powder measure , you will see a twisted iron vent pick....the set up is for round ball with my antique flintlock fowler
( So no nipples here...Err...wait...what did I just say...?!! )

Really pretty and functional twists there. I know which way I'd do it, but I wonder if you hammered it flat from round stock or round from flat stock?

 

Update on the Toy Logging Truck! We have some wheels now, though still a long ways to go!

I can't wait to see the finished product. That little boy is going to love it. He is going to tell every one his Uncle Ura-ki made him that truck.

 

YUP, and all his little buddies are going to want to play with it too! The truck is bigger then he is, should be fun as heck!
Whats better, he is going to be pushing that all over the place and having adventures for years to come!

His Daddy is so Jealous, and he wants one now! LOL

What is this tree do? The others I recognize but not the second picture.

 

The tree is just there to give it a seasonal touch. If you look below the tree you'll see a very plain pivot for the climbing bear. If you look really close you can see how I strung it with minimal pieces of cord.

I had made this one for the son of a guy at work. He liked it so much that he hung it above his bed and enjoyed it so much that he was reluctant to give it to the boy.

 

@Ura-Ki what a great truck.... at 1st I thought is was going to be a front end loader(just in the 1st few pics) its lovely you have my vote!

That truck is awesome Ura-Ki. Seriously sweet gift.

My high school shop cutting board was an onion. Didn't look too much different than the pig! My mom still has it somewhere.

That one is prettier than my camp knife...

 

Hand tooled leather bodice/corset. Made for playing at renaissance faires in the US but still have this one and my wedding one (yes, I wore a leather bodice for my wedding ) also made a lot of scabards, belts, boots knife sheathes etc but had to leave that at my mums (UK customs had enough questions about the bullwhip in my luggage......)

You woulda liked my Ren faire persona, I had at least 6 - 9 blades on me at all times plus the whip.
And I can fit a 6” blade down the front of that bodice

 

I made a friend does that count??
