I like the deodorant recipe, it's close to what I have used for a long time. Homemade Deodorant Bar Recipe - Natural and Organic I wouldn't use more than a teaspoon of baking soda for this size batch, and I have used a little more arrowroot powder. I use coconut and shea with my own mixture of essential oils (ylang ylang, melissa, pine). I use 3 drops ylang ylang, 3 drops melissa, and about 15 drops pine. I have never tried using probiotics in my deodorants, as I always use essential oils that have natural antiseptic properties. I have also mixed pine with balsam fir at a 50/50 ratio for an even better formula. Of course, I buy all my essential oils at Ananda Apothecary (LINK) A more simple deodorant I make now is an equal mix of baking soda, potato starch, and then coconut oil and essential oils as desired.
