Thanks for the link...The older my body becomes the more I look at being the "medic" and not the hard charger. Knees are a real necessity for the latter. Gafarmboy
Being a medic and a hard charger are not mutually exclusive....but I hear what you are saying. Although I'm pretty fit for my age...I would be kidding myself if I believed that I could do now, all the things I could do 40 years ago (well at least in a sustained way). It's a relatively recent and up to date reference. As time goes on, best practice changes and old references need to be reviewed for relevance. Being able to patch oneself up, as well as patching up others, is always a good skill to have, particularly when it is a transferable skill that may enable others to save your own life.
