Well, serves me right for trying to go inexpensive on a knife. One hour into my winter camp setup. Blade chipped just batoning small limbs off of a larger limb. Got a full refund, looking for new suggestions. Bushcraft use mainly, keep a good skinning/filet knife for cleaning game and laplander saw/axe for larger wood procurement . Trying to stay in the 100-125 range. any suggestions welcome!

Woodsman's Pal. Not really a knife, but it does so much well they are hard to beat. Look for a factory second.

Thank goodness you got a refund. That would have been a lot of sharpening to get rid of that chip.
