Conflicted the Card Game

I can live with people thinking me bloodthirsty. I know otherwise. #1 are these individual a threat to me or ones I care for? YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT - YES. Do I care what each and everyone of their true stories are? Probably not, and not up to me to waste time trying to figure it out. God can deal with that!. Can I live with my actions afterwards? I hope so. I have never taken a life, and I really don't want to be tested that way. However can I live with not taking action and having friends and tribe members killed by these people? Nope!!!

Well, I have never heard of this game! Looks like they have a number of different types. I will check them out this evening and figure out which one I want to order. Oh! As far as the friend that wants to kill my other friend, he either tells me the reason or I am against him.

 

I'm with Sea on this. I try real hard to keep my nose on my side of the fence but I take friendship seriously. I was always taught that you defend your friends, whether that be something as simple as speaking up when you hear trash talked about them or actually insert yourself into a physical confrontation to aid and or protect said friend. First "friend" states that he is planning to kill 2nd friend and anyone that gets in his way of killing the 1st, refusing to give any reason. He no longer is a friend, he is a threat to me,my group and my friend. Like any other rabid animal he will be put down as soon as I can clear leather. There simply isn't any other choice.

 

I would do what many Republicans seem to be doing of late....offering thoughts, prayers and hopes that the intended victim survives the intended homicidal plan....and thoughts, and prayers to the victim's NOK, family and friends, should the intended victim not survive the mutual friend's homicidal plan.....after all....who am I to interfere with someone else's god given 'free will' .... and who am I to intervene in god's cosmic master plan. I'd probably comfort the victim's family with some stock platitudes like..."He's / she's in a better place now" ; "god needed another angel" ; "god wants to make you stronger through this" ; 'god never gives you more than you can handle' ; 'everything happens for a reason' ; 'It's all part of god's plan' ; 'It was just their time to go'...

I'm sure that they would be very comforting words.

 

First friend is going to kill second friend because second friend is going to bed with your wife...doesn't tell you to spare your marriage...

I try to keep politics out of most friendships cause otherwise it doesn't go well. What would you do if one friend approached you about killing you other friend?

That is a very good point. Why mention it? Sounds like he wants to be talked out of it, cry for help or intervention.

 

@techsar In my humble opinion this falls under the Biblical version of thou shout not Murder (kill). I happen to agree with their being a difference between Murder and killing. I do not believe taking a life is in order if ones mate is screwing someone else. Not mine, not his, not hers! You may not agree. So be it. I would toss the both of them out of my life forever. I would have to confront all parties to decide what to believe, and or have proof or a confession. I WOULD NOT WANT MY FRIEND TO MURDER THE MAN SCREWING MY MATE.

Prayer all we can do when leftists insist in keeping our children in gun free zones and try to prevent us from allowing for armed, trained, qualified volunteer teachers for immediate response as opposed to law enforcement which can't physically get there until minutes after it's a massacre.

They have not done anything and they are walking down the street. They could pass by your home and you may have wasted ammo on a non-threat.

Real response - I'd keep a close eye on them and be prepared for anything. I won't waste resources unnecessarily and you don't know if there are more of them nearby. It also depends on the times - perhaps prior to SHTF people who don't "think right" are getting rounded up so a group of prisoners may not be violent. I think you could pick up a vibe from the group by watching them - what are they looking at, etc., to get a decent idea of the level of threat.

If confronted I could always tell them that even though they have enough men to take me several of you are going to die, starting with your leader. On the other hand, my neighbor of there, the house with the Nissan Leaf, was a strong proponent of gun control and told me several times that he would rather be raped by a gang of convicts than own a gun...

 

The threat card? I would cover and observe, call for reinforcements, plan a tactical retreat to better defensive ground. No, I would not start shooting unless the threat became active. I might leave a surprise for them but if I am forced to engage, it will be because the treat elevated well beyond them walking down the street with clubs. I am not a huggy-feely kinda person but I do not relish the taking of life, even in the defense of property. They will be an active threat before my booger-picker goes to the bang switch.

 

I agree. The card says you can take them out at the distance but could be overwhelmed if to close. I do wonder if hoping they will pass by is something I would regret, Sometimes people circle back and I wouldn't want a group of prisoners attacking my family.

 

Hopefully by this time you have established some sort of community defense and communications like @Seacowboys has pointed out. I've put my neighborhood in CAD along with everybody's names and identified how best to secure it. I also have enough iDen phones to provide adequate comms for coordination.

Oh, and if they pass my house they HAVE to circle back since I live in a cul-de-sac.

 

I randomly bought 3 of them...the first one was good, the second one was a little dogmatic, the rest are all based on Rawles books, and if you do not like the books, or have not read them, the questions do not make a lot of sense.

The GAME is played as basically a MAG questionnaire, with your answer on your turn being scored by the other players, with a possibility to discuss your answer...kinda like being on here, but across the table from one another.

However ,
It is not unreasonable to think that these might have been forced to wear this clothing under black mail or threat of death to their families and used as bait to flush out the would be sniper survivalist .
The Germans , Chinese an Japanese and Korean and others are famous for the use the threat of death to family members if they did not perform some suicidal task. it's not beyond the communist/socialist and democrat play book to use it again.
So given the scenario at hand I might prefer to remain in the shadows till their actions prove otherwise . I would also be scoping out the territory well behind them to see if there are in deed sharp shooters trained on them.

I am a man of prayer , and reverence God and believe deeply in Jesus Christ, and in this relationship receive instruction via the Holy Spirit, Jesus provides those under His Lordship .
If God put's/directs me in a given situation , live or die it's a win /win for me . I'd rather be obedient to God and dead than a live rebel any day.
I know God's intervention and care and instruction, especially when things get tense for most people . ( it does not take a tense situation for me to ask God's instruction.)
I pray with all that is in me, I never am called upon to have to take a life , I have made it a life long effort to save lives ,even of those I do not know or may have difference or conflict .
