Not really an issue any more.
The constitution is pretty much dead, we live in a police state (IMHO)

Miranda, whatever. If you don't already know not to talk, you'd better have a great shyster.

Hey, if you are going to do something that kills people, expect the same (reference Dorner cop on cop), eye for an eye

Unregistered guns. Whatever, You can manufacture your own gun from parts and you don't need to do a back ground check on yourself. Anyway, guns don't kill people. People kill people. Guns, when used appropriately just make it a humane kill. Hammers, not so much.

Immigration control. Yeah, ask the people of the First Nation how that worked out for them.

Privacy? What privacy? Database mining, store loyalty cards, credit/debit cards, web cams, facial recognition, traffic cams, google glass, social media, cell phones and their cameras. Unless you are Amish (and that's debatable) or have been paying cash and not driving for your entire adult life, yeah then they know a lot more about you than you think

About the best you can hope for is to attempt to add data points to your profile that just jack their system up. Like getting a list of items from friends, they give you cash, you buy them and use your CC or Debit Card or Amazon account. I mean seriously, I don't need that many pairs of ugly shoes.
