    Good designs.

    Really like that red handle.

Love me some custom knives! That little caper looks especially handy, and the large butchering blade would be well used in my collection!

My version of a skrama before the skrama.

Bear's knife. About 6.5-7" blade and about same length handle. He scoffed at me about the handle. But I do not like my knives to just barely fit in my hand. The longer handle lets me choke up control or hold back for power. Spine is squared except on the hump. It is rounded there for comfort and for better pounding.

I really like that knife. What is the blade thickness at the spine if I might ask?

I’ll measure it for you when I get a chance.

@oldawg, here are the measured specs.

    Blade length 6 3/4"

Handle length 6 3/4" (for reference, my hand fills the koa handle of the bowie on top)

There is a 1/4" transition with the curved handle meets the blade, so the total length is 13 3/4"

The spine is 5/16" (or 5mm) with a slight distal taper.

And the blade without the kydex sheath is one pound 1.6 ounces. And the patina is natural with use. And it is a little dirty still.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks H. That would be a near perfect knife in my view. Bear does know his stuff for sure.
