Having a chunk of spaghetti stuck deep in you could cause infection as well. Not an immediate threat but could be enough to take someone out of action later. Also no reason you couldn't dip the tip in something interesting. Hit the carotid and it could be much sooner. Interesting.... the deadliest food I've personally used are cabbages, broccoli, and beans...
@Bishop That is so amazing. The tube you are shooting it through, could you tell me a bit about that, would it be easy to make one. This is something I really want to try. Edited due to confusion, see below.
Well the tube is the... um... well you see certain food create gases in the body and they,... er... come out the back entrance....and ...um
OHHHHH! You meant the blow gun! Sorry! Get a 3/8" inside diameter (larger/smaller depending on how big a dart you want to use, how long/how much breath you have, etc. but that should be about right for "most" people) aluminum tube, between three and five feet long, polish the inside of the tube at both ends so the dart will slip in easily and will exit with out catching on anything, which would throw it off target. Get a mouth piece (if you have an old snorkel that you can use the mouth piece off of, or get one of the "bite on" water hose/camel back types, mouth guards, carve your own, whatever just as long as it is comfortable to you and you can form a seal with it is all you need) so you won't bite on the aluminum tube. Ideally your breath should end just as the dart exits the end of the tube. It should be a sudden breath (PUFF!), not a long b-l-o-w. Aiming is trial and error and not all that hard to do. I even saw a book on "how to" blowgun making and shooting, no idea of the name, but check your local library under "blowguns", or use a web search to find the name of the book(s) and order through the interlibrary loan system to get it/them. Hope that was what you were asking.
The book is the breath of death The blow gun is a big bore blow gun by cold steel but they are easy to make 1. 1/2 conduit or pvc about 4 to 6 foot long 2. 1 1/2 reducer to 1/2 for the mouth peice 3. Darts can be made from bamboo skewers and paper made into cones and glued up or wire nuts cut to size
My son just watched the video of you shooting the spaghetti. He said that he has heard of Cold Steel products and that they also sell a knife he has been wanting. Great video
If you want to make some real good darts you can use HDPE # 2 on the bottom milk jugs laundry detergent bottles as long as it marked HDPE or 2 heat it up with a heat gun or on a stove it will get soft and then take a bamboo skewer and use the flat end push in until it fourm a cone let cool slide the pint end if the cone into your blow gun and Mark and then cut it out nip the end slide bamboo skewer pint in into the cone and hot glue.
You can request a catalog for there special projects to see what all they have but it's better to get if from blade matrix or Midway usa even Walmart on line
