If Justice Thomas would have answered his phone with a "What up!" and a heartfelt "A-muri-ka sucks", the NAACP would have championed him as a true brother faithful to his blackness. White people are poor also. Using race as a crutch, especially in this day is remarkably ignorant. There are just as many, if not more "racist" blacks as there are whites. The world is what we make it -placing blame on a government, politician, pope, or business only further ignores the real problem which is inherent in all people; you simply do not know yourself...or your potential. Sure, governments are corrupt. Politicians are despotic, popes and priests rule your thought, corporations are greedy and manipulative. But, what are you capable of? Are you the type who will rise above a challenge and face your own FEARS? Will you now, run and hide or point fingers when your own subconscious craves for you to be controlled and led to a gulag? Indifference is the result of a default on responsibility. We all have the unique responsibility to do what is right...the first time...and every time. We can all do something to make the world a better place. It starts with improving your self and your own mind. Racism is a blanket of fear and hate, guided by those who will never look at themselves in the mirror and know who they see. It is time to think for yourself instead of simply absorbing the misguided and convoluted thoughts of others.
