Too bad she got the name wrong....but her message is clear... <object width="425" height="344"> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jGC1mCS4OVo&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="425" height="344"></object>
I don't disagree with her sentiment... but I think she's a fool who is only hurting herself. Her interest rate will not be reduced. They will not give her a "too good to be true" payoff offer. They will call her, at least once each day, until they send her account to collections. Then that agency will call her at least once a day. As she sits and "fights" - by not paying - her unpaid balance will accrue, with non-payment penalties, late fees, and high interest, until she'll wish she'd done something more to help herself to begin with (besides snivel about it on the internet).
Yup. Unless she waits 10 years and hopes that BOA goes under and she can wipe it off her credit, or declares bankruptcy. Best to pay it off now.
Declare bankruptcy if you don't care about your credit..... simple as that. No phone calls, its just finished.
