Aluminum is found all over the world and not a fire issue , I'd say those are a big deal beyond the cycle issue most other batteries suffer with.
My LiFePo4 batteries have been doing a great job for the past several years. Lots faster charging than the lead-acid before and more usable power per charge. So far no degradation even in the Southern heat. At this rate, I anticipate at least ten additional years out of them...which will make the ROI better than if I had chosen lead-acid replacements. ETA: These are BigBattery Kong Elite Max...19kWh each.
