Been following these guys research into sunspots, CMEs, space weather, earthquake prediction and other topics for some time now. I've met Ben when he cruised The Mobile Observatory through BC. Serious science that WILL SAVE LIVES. Serious business. They needed $35,000 for R and D, posted kickstarter and are done in a couple days. I love it. Kickstarter: The Disaster Prediction App
It will be an amazing tool they are trying to develop. I believe these men more than other scientists. They have an open mind and will look and analyses things that other scientists negate.
They are definitely on to something, despite Ben's ego. They already have 47 thousand with 5 days left, and this app could save lives. The research is sound. Let's hope this works out, and I am looking for a live desktop feed myself since I do not use a smart phone.
