Using weeds to add nutrients to the soil by 'chop and drop', composting, and 'weed teas' (liquid fertiliser). Some precautions need be exercised in minimising weed infestation risks. I have had some success with making compost, and by making weed tea in 20 litre buckets...I dilute the raw weed tea concentrate 1 part tea to 9 parts water (rainwater or water sourced from natural water sources...town water supply is OK if allowed to stand 24hrs in an open container to de chlorinate). The residual weeds remaining after the weed tea bucket has been emptied can be used as mulch or put in the compost heap.
