Special Announcement - NFA Match coming up</th></tr> <tr> <td colspan="3"> It is nearly time for the East Texas Machinegun Shoot. Saturday 26 April at the East Texas Rifle and Pistol Club (etrpc.com) shooting range in Longview, Texas. Please see the web site for address and map. We will list the complete itenerary and fee schedule in the next day or so.
Please bring your suppressors for our guest John Titsworth of Silencer Research to meter. We will have an area far away from the main firing line so that he may obtain accurate measurements with minimal interference.
Also, we are sending out special invitations to as many suppressor Mfgs as possible. Last year Kel from Gemtech was able to drop by for a few hours and may be able to attend this shoot if his schedual allows.
The SMG Match should prove to be a very fun and well planned event this spring. The fellows heading up this event Dennis and Eric have meticulously planned the event. The prize money offered should be a nice incentive for you competitors.
Stephen will be the BBQ artist again this spring and is already working on a tasty menu.
Also, based on feedback from the previous shoot. We plan to

    • have several tables available near the firing line for your gear
    • some chairs scattered down the line
    • Several gun racks near the line for your weapons
    • Some canopies near the line for a little shade
    • A large cooler with water, gatorade, cokes etc.
    • trash barrels near the line
    • more and better targets
    • A slight chance that ammo will be available for purchase (9mm, 7.62x39, 223, 45 ACP)
    • Camping, RV parking- although not available at the range there are several RV parks and camping areas within 5 - 20 minutes of the range
Should you have additional suggestions to make this a more enjoyable shoot then please let one of the ETRPC MG club members know.

What...your going to a wedding shower? She goes to the wedding shower and you go out with the guys to the gun shower. You arrive at the end of the shower to say thanks and haul the booty home (both kinds of booty).

There comes a time when you got to decide who is gonna wear the balls. If you hand them over now, you will never get them back.

Clyde has spoken. Return to machine gun shoot discussions.

Well there is a gun show in Mesquite which is about 30min from the shower, so I will probably end up there. Tyler is like 2hrs from the shower so I couldn't make that worth my while and be back in time to pick up the cool loot.

Got the PM EL:) Thanks and mail inbound.
