.. allow infected people into our country. .... Funny you should mention that. Starting June 13th .. the whole world is going to be coming to multiple locations for the FIFA World Cup Soccer matches. Something like 1.2 - 1.5 million coming from abroad (only tourist) plus news crews from across the globe. With an incubation period of like 2-21 days .. well there is a chance. Welcome to 2026 where you only thought energy and food prices plus maybe a side of civil unrest was your only concern. Yep, we should know for sure by the middle of August if our airport screening was effective.
What happened to ebola? Did the media drop it once they realized nearly everyone it killed is black? Which is what they usually do.
We got instructions to do the Annual PMs on the highly infectious disease ward early in our hospital, that was it so far. That's change belts and HEPAs, check motors for heat and vibration.....basics
Ebola Outbreak: Current Situation | Ebola | CDC This year’s Ebola outbreak has spread faster than the worst on record - WBBH
Looks like no one really cares. People don't go to the hospital until after someone has died. Biggest takeaway "contact tracing is a dead end 80% of the time" yeah because people won't talk, don't trust medical providers, wont trust the government, etc.
Personally, I could be wrong, but the way th CDC is handling things , as with COVED, I don't think they are really interested in curing the problem, after all, during COVED they were condemning Ivermectin. and that's a fact.;
