    1. Are the built in rechargeable batteries accessible to be replaced when they wear out?
    A. On mine Yes.
    2. If so what kind of batteries are they?
    A. Trip A Rechargeable.
    3. Can you access the electronics to tie the built in batteries in parallel to rechargeable batteries in the bottom?
    A. OEM Built that way.

    Many designs in these and be aware that the best are the ones with the screw bottom for the batteries.
    Simple Reason. Screw on bottom is more rugged and screw on bottom will not "let Fly" the batteries should you drop it. Those snap in bottoms really suck if lost.
