You know, your prompting made me unload the last mod I installed. Got bored last night after running out of work to do. Whaddaya know, it worked! Yeah, I just havent had the interest to play much, lately. Its just me and my daughter after work at night, the old lady's off to work until 2am. Needless to say the little angel gets 100% of my attention until she goes to bed, then Im pretty much spent. Might stay up late tonight and roam the wastelands a bit, tho...
Ever play this game? It's a Canadian perspective on survival. You against the wild. The cold, cold wild. Without all the "ehh's", ehh...
I have played it quite a bit during beta. Not so much with a storyline. But it has an awesome sandbox. It's actually a really great survival based game. Far different mechanics than traditional American games though. You aren't pitted against monsters. It's all nature. Very nasty nature.
It's quite a different experience dying of hypothermia, than it is being smashed into mush by a gigantic radioactive monstrosity. The worst enemy in this game is the bear. And it's far, far scarier than anything I've faced in Fallout.
