First of all, it was great to see Bear. Thanks for stopping by buddy. My wife scolded me for not taking a picture of you. The heavens opened up quite a bit today. But the weather gods gave us a clear window just long enough to set up our tents before coming down even harder. It rained so hard, a river ran through it. Everything is swampy, even the higher ground where we set up. After an especially large downpour, I discover our tent had some leaks. It has served us faithfully for 6-7 years without a leak. We have camped quite a bit with it in all kinds of weather. Bandaid was to throw an auscam hoochie over to keep us dry. Was gonna play around with it and set up various shelters. But this time, it will serve a higher purpose. We are expecting very high winds. Got the wind warning this morning. So the tarp is attached with bungee loops and prussik knots. Here are the mountains before sun down.
