I wish I could, but I have a 4G modem / router here at the farm. It broadcasts a (very) localized 2.4 Ghz WiFi signal. No LAN ability with it. And, only 6 IP addresses can be connected. I was able to issue all static IP addresses, one for each of our devices. Real cutting edge technology we have here. It is the CPE168W. Have a look at it. If I had a way to even extend the WiFi range, I would. I would prefer having access all over the farm. But, with only an internal antenna broadcasting - inside a sea container, it's not exactly going to have widespread coverage. Oh, we are the only people, apparently, on the farm road with an actual ISP. Most people here tend to just use their cell service, which isn't so very reliable, for internet access. In the cities, yes. But, in the provincial areas, not so much.
it would be in the hundreds with integrated WiFi .. possibly $400 - $600 depending on the configuration .. even at that price there would be nothing left to donate back to the monkey if we go with a less expensive device we can build them cheaper than that, but still more expensive than store bought routers
DIY ROUTER: Software installer: pfSense® - World's Most Trusted Open Source Firewall PC to use as router: (any micro tower will work as long as you have enough card slots) Basic instructions: I absolutely hate networking, however. If you've got the cash, a good Trunk Monkey would be indispensable. But, for those interested in a project, this is one way to do it.
