Back in mid-May, I was diagnosed with a detached retina. Surgery was on June 1st. Fast forward to late November and new glasses prescription 4 or 5 weeks after cataract surgery. I picked up the new glasses last Monday. At first, I was disappointed.....hardly any improvement on old glasses. After wearing them for a day, I have noticed my left (Bad) eye was not having to strain nearly as much as before the new glasses. WOOHOOO! I also can see the computer and read much better. Far away sight is still kind of goofy, but improved. With luck, the eye will continue improving and I can get on with my life. This has been a tough 6 months! Thanks for all the good wishes from my friends here at the Monkey and Merry Christmas to all. Kajun
Great to hear from you and happy you are doing better... now we can harrass you and you can see it =)
Gog, yes. I can shoot. The doc said handguns are fine, .410 & 20 ga shotguns preferred, wait a bit for .12 ga and on .30 caliber +. Fishing is ok, too. The fish and wildlife folks stock our local rivers with trout during the winter.
Good deal Kajun! Now you can start making up for lost time in those streams and on the shooting bench! Merry Christmas Bro!
My most sincere thanks to all of you who read my posts and for those wh o sent encouragement. And Merry Christmas to all.
