FOOD? Yes we have food, on the hoof!

Spring is here and another new calf.
Just did a walk around as I do daily usually more than once.
Truck picture is just for fun and the bird nest is freshly built for a spring nest.


5 Ton Mil Truck and Barn Cat that covers my 6 with each step I take or scouts ahead.
The Truck is right at 10 feet tall.

Nice truck...lost count of how many cracked transfer cases we put in those things...low range and reverse do NOT mix well.

 

I grew up on a hog farm so we never had a lack of flies, but it was always great to see the flock of barn swallows swooping and darting to catch them. One of the many things I miss. We also raised calves and I miss the cattle too, the hogs not nearly so much.
