Former US defense official: We know UFOs are real

They aren't from a far away galaxy. They've always been here. The greatest trick ever pulled was convincing people they are the only sentient life form, God's special, chosen People...

We are only one iteration out of many. And nearly all of them have failed. We only have 6,000 years to grow and evolve, to become what is necessary to survive each cataclysm. If we are lucky, we can get by this hurdle. By the looks of it, we did, but just barely. Now it has been another 6,000 years and this means the "big one" is upon us, the 12,000 year cataclysm. Nothing survives this one, ever. I mean, a few hundred here, maybe a couple thousand deep underground there...but one thing is for certain, this "alien" race survived their cataclysm. They managed to survive the universe swatting at them and they survived themselves for at least 12,000 years and they moved on to become shepherds of this incredible biosphere we call our own.

But another, much older race has been keeping tabs --and from time to time, reseeding this cradle of life. Sometimes they will pass down important information to the new races, teaching them how to farm or to write in a basic language. Maybe they will give them a little bit of history to keep them in line. They appear as Gods to these infant races, and with time their traditional scripture is slowly altered to suit their own needs. They use this "religion" to raise armies and give a man reason to not give up when he is sore, tired, hungry, and faces certain death. And thus, we are left with another reality we must face...we are out of time again.

And this is the 12,000 year catastrophe on our doorstep.
