I'm not a regular watcher of Fox News, so somebody tell me - "Is it in keeping with Fox News current norms to hammer a Republican candidate?"

I was a little surprised to see this piece by Sally Kohn of Fox News, on Ryan's recent speech. In her words, "Ryan’s speech was an apparent attempt to set the world record for the greatest number of blatant lies and misrepresentations slipped into a single political speech."

That seemed like something that should be coming from a news organization that leans a little more toward the left than Fox News.

Next thing you know, NPR will start demanding to see Obama's birth certificate.

Previously, Kohn was Senior Campaign Strategist with the Center for Community Change, where she served as co-Director. She also previously served as Executive Director of the Third Wave Foundation. Kohn held a program fellowship at the Ford Foundation, helping to manage more than $15 million in annual grants. She was also a distinguished Vaid Fellow at the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Policy Institute. Kohn has consulted at organizations such as the Urban Justice Center. She was also a strategic adviser to the Social Justice Infrastructure Funders.

Fox news has several "contributers' for the whole 'fair and balanced' thing, even if they are seemingly lunatics.

At least they - Fox - presents the other side, no matter how deranged they might appear. A more moderate voice of the left might be less jarring, but folks need to know just how "Chicago" the other side (that is, the not Republicans) seem to think. And I can tell you there are people who think this harridan is "too soft"....

    Woof!

It's the same as her other pieces. Probably their attempt to be "fair and balanced". Funny thing is, they hire someone like this and it only lends credence to extreme liberals because "Fox said it". They don't mention what kind of person she is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sally_Kohn
It's interesting how similar to this article http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/30/paul-ryan-address_n_1841819.html her article is. It's almost like they are looking at the same script.
