Dear All From Monday 6th August to Friday 10th August, my new Kindle book – The Empire’s Corps – will be available free to anyone who wants to download a copy. If you like it, all I ask in return is that you post a review on Amazon. In the universe of The Empire’s Corps, The Galactic Empire is dying and chaos and anarchy are breaking out everywhere. After a disastrous mission against terrorists on Earth itself, Captain Edward Stalker of the Terran Marine Corps makes the mistake of speaking truth to power, telling one of the most powerful men in the Empire a few home truths. As a result, Captain Stalker and his men are unceremoniously exiled to Avalon, a world right on the Rim of the Empire. It should have been an easy posting… Well, apart from the bandits infesting the countryside, an insurgency that threatens to topple the Empire’s loose control over Avalon, and a corrupt civil government more interested in what it can extort from the population than fighting a war. The Marines rapidly find themselves caught up in a whirlwind of political and economic chaos, fighting to preserve Avalon before the competing factions tear the world apart. They’re Marines; if anyone can do it, they can. The battle to save the Empire starts here. To find The Empire’s Corps on Amazon, click here. Please share this promotion as far as possible. Thank you Christopher Nuttall
Download complete. Now all I gotta do is find a few hours today and tomorrow and the next day and the next, wait, this thing is almost 600 pages!! lol Thanks Kajun
ghrit, I got a Kindle about a year and a half ago. Really liked it, mostly. Then, about 4 months ago, I broke down and got a Nextbook 7 from Hastings for under $100. It's more an android tablet kinda thingy and it'll do the Kindle app plus tons more. I absolutely LOVE that little gizmo! Kajun
I am a lot the same ghrit...but being able to carry about a 300 book library in a cargo pocket is great for a guy who usually has at least 2-3 books going at a time. The Androids and tablets with all the games and crap don't interest me (heck, I finally got a cell phone about 5-6 years ago), but, after about 2 years, I love my Kindle. My wife resisted until this year when she realized that she could resize the type on any book to "large print".
sweet!! Thanks, look forward to getting a chance to read it, will gladly post a review when I'm done ghrit, they are sometimes a pita, but I carefully consider that currently I get more than I trade, for convenience and accessibility on my iphone when the kids are all up and grown, I might toss it in the river, but for several reasons, I need to be available and may as well get as much out of it as I can....it is rather nice to be able to reference things like a survival manual, the Bible, Mother Earth News Canning Guide and the Collected Sermons of Fred Craddock in the Dentists chair or anywhere else I happen to be.
It downloaded to my iPhone real fast. Now to find time to read it. And figure out how to do a review on Amazon.
Thanks! Please like and share it too - I'm trying to get the promotion as far out as possible before time runs out. Thanks Chris
