    Went to the gun show today to look around and meet up with a good friend. And sure enough a gun follows me home! Picked up a Maverick 88 for $140.00 OTD. This makes 3 now.

    I went to the gun show today. Walked out with two women's phone numbers.

    If you're starting a Maverick 88 collection you might look into some modifications... or do you like them as delivered?

    Networking. One will barter .44 bullets for brass, and the other makes custom Kydex holsters with a lifetime warranty. (Hope this one works out better than the last guys I had making holsters. Can't get a warranty honored when the owners of the company are in prison.)

    Got a bunch of winchester 540 at the last one. $6/lb, guess no one knew what to do with it. The thing with win 540 is when I started reloading over 20 years ago it was already discontinued.

    Yea that kind of limits the return / repair policy ,,,at least you didn't get drug up into their mischief ...
