Fossil Walrus ivory, multi damascus patterns. The guard is carved and engraved. Lot of old west gamblers carried a smaller dagger or bowie on them as back up during differences of opinions. This one is a Spear Point bowie. The Spearpoint is humans oldest shape knife blade because they chipped its profile in stone. Strong and efficient then as it is today.
My version. I mounted the stag antler and made the bolster from old Mauser rifle parts on an old Swedish Morakniv blade I picked up somewhere. I'm still taking baby steps.
