I'm not the smartest guy on earth, but, I am smart enough to know when I stumble on to something incredible.
I went to the scrap yard and purchased 2 propane tanks 1 of them 12" wide and the other 14" wide.
I cut the 12" tank about 16" above the weld line at the curve. I drilled 1/4 holes 1" apart all the way around the top.
Drill 1/2 holes inside a 4"x 4" square on the rounded bottom, then take a skill saw with a carbide, steel cutting blade and cut the 4"x4" hole in the bottom of the 12" tank, and pound it flat. This acts as a heavy duty grill, to keep wood from falling through, the more the better.
I then Took the 14" and cut it 18" above the curve weld line. Drill as large a hole as you can find a bit for all the way around the bottom every 4-6" along the weld line.
Put a spacer at the bottom that will keep the top rim of the 12" piece level with the top of the rim of the 14" piece. Styrofoam works well or anything you'll be able to remove after you've welded the top in place.
I used a piece of 1/4 steel strapping I bought at Lowe's and welded it to seal the gap between the 2 pieces and continued all the way around until it is sealed. Now if your as bad a welder as me, you can do what I did and by furnace putty and seal the holes with that, it works great!lol
I cut a 4" strip from the 12" tank and used it for a stand for the bottom. I cut the top off the 14" tank and cut a 5" round hole in the top, first tracing it with a heavy gauge piece of black stove pipe. I cut this carefully with a side grinder scoring along my Sharpy line until I had my cut established.
I filled it with oak branches I cut into small 3" to 4"pieces just below where the 1/4 " hole were, used a big piece of wadded paper and built a TP over it with small kindling then larger and larger, etc.
I placed a cotton ball half dipped in wax and lit it.
Once the fire got going the smoke stopped and I put the cap on it, incredible watching as it converted the Smoke from the fire to what looked like propane spewing from the 1/4 holes inside.
4 hours after I lit it I was putting out the last of the few coals that were left, that little bit of wood brought a Canning Pot Approx. 4 Gallons of Chili to a rolling boil in about 20 min.and almost no black soot to speak of.

I got it uploading on my other server as we speak! Will it show up here? You do have to build a small rack that sits on top to keep the air flowing beneath the pot.

Now that is a big bunny!!! Do they breed and produce like a standard rabbit does? If so, that is a prolific meat source!!!

My dog seems to scare off most of the predators all the rabbits are in sealed cage but they can die from a heart attack if threatened repeatedly.
I keep my chickens in a coop at night, as soon as it gets dark the head for the barn, during the day they free roam.

Is this a down draft gasifying unit? Feed the wood chips in the top with the fire below and gas being drawin off at the bottom?

You start the fire at the top, after it gets going good the smoke stops and is drawn down into the bottom through the grate.it gets pushed up through the side walls and out he 1/4" holes at the top and burned as wood gas.
80% of the flames in the video is wood gas
