German Weapon Enthusiast makes his own Gatling Gun using bottles of Coke!

The most of the people after downing a bottle of Coca-Cola usually throw it away in the recycling, right? Well, this guy is not like the most of the people, so he found another amazing use for the downed coke bottles. Meet Joerg Sprave, a German DIY expert and weapons enthusiast, and see what he has created out of six coke bottles. Joerg certainly has an interesting hobby as his YouTube channel has a series of videos where he takes things that you can find around the house and turns them into inventive weapons. One day, long ago, he came up with an idea to create an arrow launcher with a pressurised bottle… When he saw that the idea is working he wanted to improve it and he started working on the project you’re about to see in this article.

In this amazing video demonstration, Sprave uses six empty Coca-Cola bottles tied together to act as pressurised air chambers to create a ‘Coke Bottle Gatling Gun’. If you don’t know, Gatling Gun is one of the most popular rapid-fire guns in the world and history knows it as a weapon which has decided the outcome of the American Civil War. The bottles work similar to the pressurised air chambers on a large revolver.Due to the strict German gun laws, Sprave adheres to the regulations, making sure that this ‘gatling gun’ doesn’t shoot arrows like bullets. There’s no denying that this guy knows what he’s doing and he certainly gets points for creativity, yet we can’t help but find this a little nerve-wracking. So what he did basically? He took 6 coke bottles, pressurized them, add a valve to each of the bottles and merge them in one compact unit. After he tested it, he noticed some flaws, and actually he was able to take this prototype one step further and even created a fully automatic version of this ‘Coke Gatling gun’.
